He is Allah the One and Only
He is the Absolute, the Eternal
He begets not, nor was He begotten
He is Most Unique... Al-Quran 112: 1-4
This describes the One who created you, made you the human you are today, when, once, you were a thing that hardly deserves any mention. The One who provided you when you did have no power over your own self.
Then why should you not worship Him, but worship others?
'And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken a son." You have done an atrocious thing.' Al-Quran 19:88-89
It is certainly the most offensive thing to ascribe a son to the Eternal One. Lets get to the basics: why do creations reproduce? Indeed, to let their species survive and not get extinct. Now, if God were to have a son, it would mean that the entity that is God isn't Ever Living, and is to die some day. That defeats the fundamental idea of God, He who helps you when you're in need. And of course it will sound overly blasphemous to say that He will DIE like His creation.
'Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe. And peace upon the messengers. And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds' Al-Quran 33:180-182
And Peace be upon all those who follow the Guidance.
